How Long Should We Live?

Cambridge University geneticist Aubrey de Grey has famously stated, “The first person to live to be 1,000 years old is certainly alive today …whether they realize it or not, barring accidents and suicide, most people now 40 years or younger can expect to live for centuries.”

So now that we have the tools of the genome in our sights, people are already playing god deciding who will be around long enough to be a god. Kinda of crazy really, thousand years should not really be that long for any human im sure one would do great good in that time. Or some will keep this life extension technology for themselfs and maybe do a lot of bad. It brings up many Questions, what do you think?
